Legendary movie director Steven Spielberg has heaped praise on Zach Cregger, the director of the upcoming Resident Evil video game movie based on Capcom's iconic gaming franchise.Speaking to Empire, the E.T. and Jurassic Park director said he hasn't made a horror movie before and he may never, in part because Cregger's horror movie Weapons was so good."I haven't directed a horror film yet, and I've always wanted to, and someday I may. But there have been some great horror films out already that satisfy that itch. When I see a great horror film like Weapons, I don't have an itch I need to scratch," he said. "I see Weapons, and it doesn't make me want to make a horror film that's as scary or scarier than Weapons. It satisfies me so completely, it actually arrests my desire to someday make a really, really scary movie."Continue Reading at GameSpot
Title: Crimson Desert Patch Tries To Make Storage Less Frustrating
Date: Mon, 06 Apr 2026 07:53:00 -0700
Link: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/crimson-desert-patch-tries-to-make-storage-less-frustrating/1100-6539228/?ftag=CAD-01-10abi2f
Crimson Desert has received another patch that brings several important and welcome changes to the open-world action-adventure RPG. This includes addressing the game's biggest headache: storage space. However, there's a caveat this time.As part of Patch Version 1.02.00, which is available now on all platforms (with the Mac App Store version currently "in progress"), South Korean developer Pearl Abyss has expanded the number of storage slots you have access to in Crimson Desert. These storage slots, though, are found in Kliff's private storage chest in the Greymane's camp, which you unlock at the start of Chapter 3. You previously started with 240 slots in this lockbox, but now, depending on how much you build upon the camp, you can increase the number of storage slots to a maximum of 1,000.Greymanes, Patch Version 1.02.00 is rolling out. This patch adds the Headgear Visibility option, private storage capacity increase of up to 1000 slots depending on the Greymane camp expansion level, and more. The patch is available on Steam and EGS. PlayStation, Xbox, and Mac… pic.twitter.com/b4SbaHeE80 — Crimson Desert (@CrimsonDesert_) April 4, 2026 This is a welcome addition, particularly considering how frustrating storage has been since the game's March 19 launch on consoles and PC. Across reviews, including GameSpot's 7/10 Crimson Desert review, the common refrain has been that inventory management is "aggravating" and "tedious" due to item abundance and space limitations. Pearl Abyss released a patch on March 29 that increased the number of storage slots on Kliff, but players still found the inventory-management system irksome. While this patch doesn't add more slots to Kliff's personal bag, the additional space to his private chest should help assuage some of the concerns regarding the amount of storage you have access to.Continue Reading at GameSpot

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a certified box office hit, on par with its 2023 predecessor, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Title: When will George Washingtoad start appearing in the Super Mario movies?
Date: Mon, 06 Apr 2026 17:02:44 GMT
Link: https://www.polygon.com/george-washingtoad-super-mario-movies/
In a recent interview with Polygon, voice acting legend Eric Bauza talked all about his character in The Super Mario GalaxyMovie, the Toad General, whose adorable appearance is offset by his deep, commanding voice. Bauza also mentioned how, while people have been supportive of his portrayal, many Nintendo fans wish the character had actually been Toadsworth, Princess Peach’s longtime top Toad beginning with 2002’s Super Mario Sunshine. I, however, would like to advocate for another commanding Toad to get some respect as well: I’m talking about George Washingtoad, who’s been around more than a decade longer than Toadsworth.
Title: The announcement for this Xbox exclusive was kinda fake, dev reveals
Date: Mon, 06 Apr 2026 16:16:26 GMT
Link: https://www.polygon.com/state-of-decay-3-xbox-pc-cgi-trailer-undead-labs/
When a game is announced, it's common to witness CGI trailers that don't accurately represent what you end up playing. If that announcement is closer to a tease than a full-on reveal, one can reasonably assume that the game isn't ready to be shown or is still early in development. In those cases, I wouldn't blame anyone for wondering if there's really much of any game at all behind the scenes. But it's pretty rare for a studio to just come out and say that their hands were kind of empty when a game was unveiled.

Title: Smooth Moves: 90 Frames-Per-Second Virtual Reality Arrives on GeForce NOW
Date: Thu, 19 Mar 2026 13:00:09 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/geforce-now-thursday-virtual-reality-update/
It’s a double feature on GFN Thursday. This week, GeForce NOW offers smoother sights in virtual reality (VR) and a sprawling new land to conquer.
Streaming at 90 frames per second (fps) comes to supported VR headsets.
And Crimson Desert, which recently surpassed 3 million wishlist additions on Steam, debuts in the cloud with GeForce RTX 5080‑class power. Catch it as part of four new games on GeForce NOW
VR, but Make It 90 FPS
Power levels rising … to 90 fps.
VR in the cloud is getting a smoothness upgrade. GeForce NOW is boosting support for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest devices and Pico devices to stream at up to 90 fps for Ultimate members, bringing crisper motion and more responsive gameplay straight from the cloud. The app update is starting to roll out to members starting today.
Members can transform the space around them into a personal gaming theater with GeForce NOW, playing favorite PC titles on a massive virtual screen. With support for up to 90 fps for Ultimate members, gameplay feels smoother, movement more natural and action more comfortable. All premium members can continue to enhance their experiences with NVIDIA RTX and DLSS technologies in supported titles.
Just fire up GeForce NOW on supported VR platforms, step into a virtual big screen and let the cloud handle the heavy lifting. From chill sessions in a virtual theater to high‑octane firefights, 90 fps helps keep every moment looking sharp and feeling responsive.
A Storm Brews
Into the cloud with “Crimson Desert.”
Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert, a stunning, open‑world action adventure set in a war‑torn fantasy land, pairs large‑scale exploration with cinematic storytelling and hard‑hitting, combo‑focused combat. One moment is a quiet ride across windswept plains, the next is a chaotic clash against towering foes with mystical power effects lighting up the battlefield.
Follow Kliff, a mercenary whose close‑knit group is destroyed in a sudden ambush. The journey centers on exploring a massive, detailed world, taking on story missions, riding mounts, finding supplies and facing dangerous enemies as Kliff works to bring his scattered companions back together.
GeForce NOW brings 5080-class power to the game across supported devices, delivering high settings, smooth action and lush visuals without the need to worry about system specs. Members can jump into its cinematic battles and sweeping landscapes on the device of their choice, from low‑spec laptops to compatible TVs and mobile devices.
Joining the Family
It’s time to make an offer no tank can refuse.
World of Tanks is rolling out the red carpet for Battle Pass Special: Mafia from March 19-29, welcoming the respectable family from the fine city of Lost Heaven and bringing their signature mix of loyalty, ambition and firepower to the battlefield. Recruit iconic characters from 2K’s original Mafia game, unlock stylish 2D looks like Little Italy and Lost Heaven Noir, and command the Italian Predatore tank to make sure every deal ends with a bang. Respect is earned — and it’s best earned playing on GeForce NOW, where the action hits fast and smooth — powered by the cloud.
In addition, members can look for the following:
Everwind (New release on Steam, March 17, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
Retro Rewind – Video Store Simulator (New release on Steam, March 17)
Crimson Desert (New release on Steam, March 19, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
Fallout 3 (Steam)
Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Motor Sport, Icarus and Ark Survival Ascended — currently available to all GeForce NOW members — will no longer be available on the free tier starting Wednesday, April 1, as the basic rig type does not meet the game’s updated minimum system requirements. Premium members can continue to play these games uninterrupted.
For some icing on the cake, the GeForce NOW Reddit community is running a giveaway for a VR headset. Find details on how to enter. Plus, check out GeForce NOW creator Airie Summer’s gaming giveaway on X

Title: GeForce NOW Raises the Game at the Game Developers Conference
Date: Thu, 12 Mar 2026 13:00:53 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/geforce-now-thursday-gdc-2026/
GeForce NOW is bringing the game to the Game Developers Conference (GDC), running this week in San Francisco. While developers build the future of gaming, GeForce NOW is delivering it to gamers. The latest updates bring smoother performance, easier game discovery and a fresh lineup of blockbuster titles to the cloud.
Game discoverability gets a boost with new in‑app labels for connected accounts for Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+. It’ll be easier than ever to see titles already available through linked subscriptions, so members can seamlessly jump into games they already own.
Virtual reality gets a smooth upgrade — supported devices now stream at 90 frames per second (fps), up from 60 fps, delivering more responsive and immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences.
Account linking is also leveling up. Following Gaijin single sign-on announced at CES in January, GOG account linking and game library syncing are coming soon.
The GeForce NOW library continues to grow with new releases joining the cloud at launch: CONTROL Resonant and Samson: A Tyndalston Story. Plus, select Xbox titles will join the Install-to-Play library.
In addition, there’s a lineup of five new games to catch this week, including Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, on top of the latest update for Fortnite.
Gaming Is Buzzing
GeForce NOW is rolling into GDC with an easier way to keep track of titles, as well as performance upgrades and a growing lineup of major titles ready to stream at launch.
Keeping track of which game lives on which service can be tricky. In‑App labels — coming soon to GeForce NOW for connected subscriptions — will help make it simple for members to know exactly what games they can play on GeForce NOW. Once a member connects their Xbox Game Pass Account or Ubisoft+ account, clear labels will appear directly on the game art inside the GeForce NOW app — eliminating guesswork and making it easy to see exactly what’s available to play from their game subscription services.
Set it and forget it.
Account linking is expanding too. On top of Gaijin single sign-on, GeForce NOW is adding GOG account linking and game library syncing in the coming months.
Smooth moves.
Virtual reality is also getting an upgrade. Starting Thursday, March 19, VR devices that GeForce NOW supports, including Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest and Pico devices, will stream at 90 fps for Ultimate members, an increase from 60 fps. The higher frame rate enhances smoothness, responsiveness and realism across every session — whether gamers are chasing enemies through neon-lit streets or exploring far‑flung alien worlds.
GeForce NOW’s Install‑to‑Play library is also expanding with select Xbox titles, including Brutal Legend from Double Fine Productions and Contrast from Compulsion Games. These additions bring more flexibility for members to download and install their owned games alongside streaming favorites.
That’s just the start. Highly anticipated games are headed to the cloud at launch:
Bending reality.
CONTROL Resonant — Remedy’s upcoming action‑adventure role-playing game (RPG) that blends supernatural powers with a warped Manhattan facing a reality-bending cosmic threat.
Unravel a family story steeped in myths.
Samson: A Tyndalston Story — the game from Liquid Swords is a gritty action brawler, set in the city of Tyndalston, launching on PC.
Free to Save the World
Chaos in the cloud.
Fortnite’s original adventure is back in the spotlight — and soon, it’ll free to play. Fortnite first launched in 2017 as a story-driven co‑op experience, and on Thursday, April 16, the “Save the World” update will officially be free to play for all players. Pre-registration begins on Thursday, March 12.
Join forces against hordes of husks, solo or with the squad, in a player vs. environment action-packed story, complete with gathering, crafting and collecting. Pick a favored playstyle with four distinct classes to choose from, over 150 heroes and weapons to upgrade, and loadout customization options to hone builds even further. With hundreds of updates since its original launch and over 100 hours of content, squads can build, grind gear and engineer elaborate homebase defenses to keep the Storm King at bay. “Save the World” isn’t available on mobile devices, including tablets.
On GeForce NOW, Fortnite “Save the World” streams straight from the cloud — no waiting around for updates or patches. Low‑latency streaming keeps building, shooting and trap placement feeling snappy across supported devices. Stay in the action with GeForce NOW.
Gear Up for Glory
The cloud makes it easy to suit up in style.

Title: NVIDIA Virtualizes Game Development With RTX PRO Server
Date: Tue, 10 Mar 2026 15:30:07 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/gdc-2026-virtual-game-development/
Game development teams are working across larger worlds, more complex pipelines and more distributed teams than ever. At the same time, many studios still rely on fixed, desk-bound GPU hardware for critical production work.
At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) this week in San Francisco, NVIDIA is showcasing a new approach to bring together disparate workflows using virtualized game development on NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and NVIDIA vGPU software.
With the RTX PRO Server, studios can centralize and virtualize core workflows across creative, engineering, AI research and quality assurance (QA) — all on shared GPU infrastructure in the data center.
This enables teams to maintain the responsiveness and visual fidelity they expect from workstation-class systems while improving infrastructure utilization, scalability, data security and operational consistency across teams and locations.
Simplifying Complex Workflows
As game development studios scale, hardware can often sit underutilized in one location while other teams wait to access it for production work. QA capacity is hard to expand quickly. Over time, workstation hardware, drivers and tools diverge, making bugs harder to reproduce. AI workloads are often isolated on separate infrastructure, creating more operational overhead.
The NVIDIA RTX PRO Server helps studios move from workstation-by-workstation scaling to centralized GPU infrastructure. Studios can pool resources, allocate performance by workload and support parallel development, testing and AI workflows without expanding physical workstation sprawl.
Centralized GPU infrastructure enables studios to run AI training, simulation and game automation workloads overnight, then dynamically reallocate the same resources to interactive development during the day, improving overall utilization and reducing idle capacity.
The NVIDIA RTX PRO Server supports virtualized workflows for 3D graphics and AI across the game development lifecycle for:
Artists: Providing virtual RTX workstations for traditional 3D and generative AI content-creation workflows.
Developers: Powering consistent, high-performance engineering environments for coding and 3D development.
AI researchers: Offering large-memory GPU profiles for fine-tuning, inference and AI agents.
QA teams: Enabling scalable game validation and performance testing using the same NVIDIA Blackwell architecture used by GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
This allows studios to support multiple teams — including across sites and contractors — on one common GPU platform, improving collaboration and reducing debugging issues that can arise from disparate hardware.
Supporting AI and Engineering on Shared Infrastructure
AI is becoming a core part of everyday game development, spanning coding, content creation, testing and live operations. As these workflows expand, studios need infrastructure that can support AI alongside traditional graphics workloads without introducing separate, siloed systems.
With the RTX PRO Server, studios can support coding agents, internal model experimentation and AI-assisted production workflows without spinning up a separate AI stack for every team.
The NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU features a massive 96GB memory buffer, enabling developers to run multiple demanding applications simultaneously while supporting AI inference on larger models directly alongside real-time graphics workflows.
NVIDIA Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) technology partitions a single GPU into isolated instances with dedicated memory, compute and cache resources. Combined with NVIDIA vGPU software, MIG can help studios securely allocate GPU capacity across users and workloads. In combined MIG and vGPU configurations, a single RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU can support up to 48 concurrent users, maximizing utilization while maintaining performance isolation.
Enterprise-Ready Deployment for Game Studios
NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers are designed for enterprise-grade data-center operations. Studios can deploy virtual workstations on RTX PRO Servers via NVIDIA vGPU on supported hypervisor and remote workstation platforms.
That means RTX PRO Servers can fit into studios’ existing infrastructure and IT practices, rather than requiring one-off deployments.
Major game publishers already use NVIDIA vGPU technology to scale centralized development infrastructure and improve efficiency at studio scale.
Learn more about the NVIDIA RTX PRO Server.
See these workflows live by joining NVIDIA’s booth 1426 at GDC or attending NVIDIA GTC, running March 16-19 in San Jose, California.

Title: Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR – Brutal Edition launches on PS VR2 April 9
Date: Mon, 06 Apr 2026 15:00:03 +0000
Link: https://blog.playstation.com/2026/04/06/wrath-aeon-of-ruin-vr-brutal-edition-launches-on-ps-vr2-april-9/
In just a few days, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR – Brutal Edition comes to PlayStation VR2. Ahead of this week’s launch, we wanted to give PS VR2 players a closer look at what this project really is, what makes Brutal Edition different, and why this version of Wrath feels so at home on PlayStation. We’re also debuting our new gameplay trailer today, making this the right moment to step inside the Old World before the hunt begins.
Play Video
Wrath has always carried the bloodline of classic shooters. It was conceived in the same Quake engine lineage that played a major role in Team Beef’s formation, which made the project feel like a natural fit from the start. The speed was there. The old-school structure was there. The sense of pressure, movement, and hostile space was already there. In that sense, it feels fitting that Wrath has become Team Beef’s first officially licensed VR game, rooted in the very same shooter DNA that has defined so much of their work. But what emerged from that foundation has become far more than a straight VR Adaptation.

Why this is the Brutal Edition
This is not just a port of the existing game. Before Team Beef could truly make Wrath feel right in VR, they first had to fix and refine the version they inherited, then rebuild it around the things VR does best: speed, physicality, pressure, and presence. That is what Brutal Edition means. Wrath was not simply moved into a headset. It was sharpened, rebalanced, and rebuilt until it felt like it belonged there.
A lot of that comes down to how the game moves and fights now. Wrath is built around momentum, and Brutal Edition leans into that harder than ever. A new slide mechanic keeps you low and aggressive without killing your speed. Blade dash has been turned into a real combat tactic, letting you cut lines, reposition under pressure, and stay on the attack instead of treating movement like a break between fights. Dual wielding is now a major part of the rhythm, giving players tighter control, reduced recoil, and access to alt-fire where it matters. Flick reloads keep the pace intact so the action never loses its bite.
The rest of the experience has been rebuilt with the same philosophy. Artifacts are no longer simple screen prompts. They are physical objects you throw, break, deploy, and use under pressure. The UI has been moved onto the hand. The journal is now a physical book you pull over your shoulder and navigate in-world. The Shepherd now speaks, giving the world more presence and atmosphere. Blood, gore, and impact have all been pushed much further, because subtle was never going to be the goal here. Even new additions like slow motion and the way-point guidance system are in service of the same idea: make Wrath feel faster, clearer,
more tactile, and more violent in VR.

Why PS VR2 is the best way to experience it
If Brutal Edition is the definitive version of Wrath, then PS VR2 is where that brutality hits hardest.
It starts with performance. Wrath is a fast game, full of crowd pressure, violent movement, and split-second reactions, so clean native performance is not optional. On PS VR2, it runs at a smooth native 90Hz, with eye-tracked dynamic foveated rendering helping make that frame rate possible and built-in super-sampling keeping the image razor sharp. The result is combat that stays readable and immediate, even when fights turn into a blur of projectiles, dashes, and close-range chaos.
Then there is the way Wrath feels in your hands. Adaptive triggers give every shot more mechanical tension, making each weapon feel closer to a real trigger pull. The refined HD haptics in the DualSense controllers go even further. Each gun has its own feel and pattern, which gives the arsenal more identity the second you pick it up. The haptics here are simply on another level, and in a shooter this physical, that matters. Headset rumble adds to that bodily feedback, making every close-range exchange feel heavier and more present.
PS VR2 also gives Wrath the kind of screen it deserves. This is a world of black skies, ruined stone, deep shadows, and decaying atmosphere. HDR OLED visuals give those spaces the contrast and depth they need, making the Old World feel even darker and more oppressive. Sound matters just as much. Wrath uses highly immersive 3D audio, powered by Sony’s Tempest 3D AudioTech, to make threats feel like they are closing in from every direction. In a game where awareness can mean the difference between controlling a room and getting swallowed by it, that kind of spatial sound is not just atmospheric. It is survival. And because this is PlayStation, Brutal Edition also includes a full trophy roster with a Platinum Trophy for players who want to see the hunt through to the bitter end.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR – Brutal Edition comes to PS VR2 on April 9, which means your time is almost up. In just a few days, you’ll be stepping into a world that does not slow down for you, where the air changes the moment a fight begins and every room can turn hostile in a heartbeat. The Old World is cruel, fast, and very good at draining the life from the unprepared. If that sounds like your kind of pressure, you won’t have to wait much longer.

Thank you all for playing SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance. The game has been nominated for numerous awards and received widespread acclaim for its action gameplay. Its success is a testament to Lizardcube’s uncompromising commitment to quality. We can’t thank you enough!
When we first began work on the SEGA Villains Stage DLC, the plan was simply to create a few stages focused on boss battles, but since Lizardcube’s so dedicated to quality, we ended up filling the DLC with tons of features, including Hardcore Mode, new Ninpo inspired by the bosses, and customizable combat settings.
Incorporating player feedback, we’ve packed the game with challenging content inspired by many of your requests. Whether you’re just starting out or have already spent countless hours playing, we hope you enjoy this exciting new wave of content.

Since the launch of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, the community’s energy has been electric. We are incredibly grateful for the passion you’ve shown for Joe Musashi’s return.
From the amazing combo reels to the fans of the franchise embracing this new adventure and aesthetics, we are very proud to be part of SHINOBI’s legacy. I believe this is one of 2025’s best action games for sure (but I may be biased :) )
Reimagining SHINOBI was a unique bridge between cultures. Our production process combined SEGA’s legendary history with Lizardcube’s own craft and sensibility. This collaboration was a dream come true, SEGA’s expertise and Lizardcube’s strengths proved to be a glorious match.
As we expand the universe, this DLC is also a love letter to SEGA. You’ll be facing DeathAdder, the ultimate boss from Golden Axe, Goro Majima from Yakuza and of course Dr. Eggman, who embodies one of the coolest villains ever. Each victory will grant you a new ninpo, like the infamous Golden Axe or the clone ability from Majima that you’ll be able to use at will in the DLC and the main game. This will bring some new and amazing combos from the community. Thank you for walking the path of the ninja.
We can’t wait for you to face these new threats!

Title: "Keeping teams together doesn't seem to matter to people, but for us it did": Star Wars Zero Company's director on what the industry can learn from XCOM 2

It seems that every week we're reporting on news of another wave of layoffs at a big game studio. In March alone, we saw 1000 staff let go at Epic Games, 124 at Eidos Montreal, and over 100 at Ubisoft's Red Storm Entertainment. And those are just the ones I can name without needing to rack my brain.
In some cases, these "reorganisations" are to keep investors happy, in others they're painted as necessary for a studio to keep the lights on until its next paycheck. But every time a team loses members, they lose something that can't be replaced if the money ever begins to flow again. The shorthand and trust that develops between staff who work together for a long time, the institutional knowledge of what's been tried in the past and worked (or didn't), these only come from teams that remain intact.
Many have sung the praises of institutional knowledge and holding a team together before, but in the wake of layoffs like we're seeing at the moment, it seems worth providing an example of why letting a team mature together makes for better games.

Greetings, loyal Treehouse tenders and Horace huggers! Today is a bank holiday in the UK, which means we are probably asleep, but we've scraped together a little themed conversation piece article to comfort you in our absence. Specifically, it is Easter Monday, which isn't a bad time to talk about resurrection - for 'twas on Easter that the worshippers rolled back the chocolate egg from the Cave of Character Creation and discovered that the Easter Bunny had started New Game Plus.
I hope the faithful among you will tolerate this attempt at humour and proceed immediately to discussing your favourite reborn, resurrected, or revived videogame character. No, you are not allowed to object that technically, every videogame character who isn't subject to permadeath counts as resurrected, providing the player fails at least once. Pac-Man is not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!

Assuming I haven't gotten torn apart by wild boars, Sundays are for navigating the wooded valleys around Cadair Idris. I'm on a hiking holiday in Eryri till Tuesday 14th April, tramping up slopes and wading through lakes of heather without a care for the depressing world of 'high' technology. I am Going Primitive, living as my Celtic ancestors did, with naught but a smartphone and a Crunchyroll subscription to ward me against Nature's ravages. Still, I have a few moments to scurry under yon dripping crag, eat a squashed flapjack, and tell you about some things I've read this week. Read more

Crimson Desert appears to be changing quicker than a musical theatre actor that has 90 seconds to put on a new outfit before their next number is up. A new update arrived in the action RPG earlier today, bringing with it nothing particularly revolutionary, but several tweaks that'll probably make you say something to the effect of "oh nice, that'll be handy."

FromSoftware has an obvious penchant for secrets, their games are just littered with them. This is probably best exemplified in Elden Ring for the simple fact that the game is unapproachably massive, you're more than likely to find at least one secret somewhere along the line even just by accident. And four years on, the secrets continue to manifest, albeit on this occasion thanks to known FromSoft dataminer Lance McDonald, who's managed to uncover a cutscene involving Miquella. You know, that guy that Malenia mentions almost every time she kills you, and also features prominently in Shadow of the Erdtree.
