Title: Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Roster - Every Character Revealed (So Far) Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 02:54:00 -0800 Link: https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/marvel-tokon-fighting-souls-every-character/2900-6640/ The Marvel Comics fandom has enjoyed several great games over the years, but at long last, Arc System Works is stepping into the ring to deliver a brand-new fighting game experience in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. There's some interesting stuff that Arc System Works is doing to make this game stand out--like adopting a 4v4 team format for matches and offering simplified controls--but at the end of the day, it's the roster that'll serve as the main draw for a project like this. Fortunately, the studio has a rich library of characters to draw upon, and it's also looking to put its spin on fan-favorite heroes and villains like Captain America, Spider-Man, and Doctor Doom."There are so many amazing Marvel characters that it was quite a struggle to choose our roster, but we did have some criteria for the selection process," producer Takeshi Yamanaka said in a PS Blog post. "First and foremost, we wanted to include characters who we feel to be the 'face' of Marvel. At the same time, we also needed to select characters that would give us a balance of battle types and styles. Lastly, we wanted to sprinkle in a few surprises and leave room for characters who have never been playable in a fighting game before."Naturally, characters like Captain America and Iron Man were a lock, but there are also a few surprises so far in the form of Ms. Marvel and Robbie Reyes, the Ghost Rider. At the time of writing, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has eight confirmed characters, and we're expecting the roster to grow as launch approaches and with DLC additions to the cast. This isn't the first time we've seen a Marvel fighting game--although we'd really like to forget Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects--but Arc System Works has built a name for itself in this genre with its work on franchises like Guilty Gear, Blazblue, and various licensed brawlers. If this isn't enough Marvel content for you, you can also check out our feature on every upcoming superhero game, as Blade, Iron Man, and other mystery projects are currently in development.Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launches for PC, PS5, and PS4 on August 6, 2026. Venba (PS5)A heartwarming game about an Indian mom who immigrates to Canada with her family in the 1980s, Venba is a celebration of culture and cooking. Rugby 25 (PS5, PS4)With the Rugby World Cup kicking off next year, now is a great time to get some practise in for the hard-hitting sport. Title: The Best Games To Play If You're Single On Valentine’s Day Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 01:54:00 -0800 Link: https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/best-valentines-day-games-singles/2900-7489/ If you're single this Valentine's Day, we've got the perfect list of games for you to play. It's that time of year again where every shop window is aggressively packed with pink decor, social media is awash with engagements and heart-shaped balloons, and everyone starts asking if you have any plans. But if you’re flying solo this year, here’s a radical idea: don’t fight it. Lean into it. Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about celebrating someone else, and it definitely doesn’t have to be miserable. It can just be a free evening where no one expects anything from you, everyone's out of your way, and you know chocolate will be half price in the morning. The games in this list are particularly good companions for singles on Valentine's Day. They don’t judge, they don’t require emotional availability, and they’re perfectly happy to keep you occupied for hours on end. Better still, a lot of them tap into feelings that Valentine’s Day tends to stir up anyway--connection, longing, nostalgia, curiosity, even a bit of sauciness--without demanding you dress up or split a dessert. Some of these games are great strategy games that let you micromanage your way out of loneliness, others let you experience romance at a safe digital distance, and a few just give you permission to feel weird, sad, or deeply immersed in peace. Whether you want distraction, catharsis, or something to laugh at while the rest of the world gets misty-eyed, these games make a strong case for spending Valentine’s Day exactly how you want to: controller in hand, phone on silent, and zero apologies. Love ya! RimWorldRelease date: 17 October, 2018Developer: Ludeon StudiosPlatforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox OneRimWorld is the kind of game that doesn’t just occupy your time--it consumes it, lovingly and without condition. You’re tasked with managing a colony of crash-landed survivors on a hostile alien planet, handling everything from food supplies to interpersonal meltdowns and personality clashes. On a Valentine’s Day where you could do with a solid distraction, that level of micromanagement can be a gift. There’s simply no room left in your brain to wonder what anyone else is doing (or if you should text your ex).RimWorld can be sweet as well, restoring your faith in human ingenuity and community. Your colonists form relationships, work through hardships, and learn from their mistakes. Romance can blossom, break down, or get interrupted by a manhunting squirrel on the rampage. Colonists can breed, find religion, go exploring, and become experts in their field. RimWorld is great if you're looking for a game like The Sims but with a bit more strategy, an all-absorbing simulation that proves managing other peoples' chaos is a fine distraction from your own. See at Fanatical GameSpot and Fanatical are both owned by Fandom. Death Stranding 2: On The BeachReleased: 15 September, 2025Developer: Kojima ProductionsPlatforms: PlayStation 5Death Stranding 2 is bizarre and obtuse, but how better to find joy in human connection than trying to save the species from extinction. The game actively explores ideas of community and sacrifice for your fellow man, and it's the perfect remedy for when you're feeling a little isolated. Playing as Sam once again, you’re tasked with traversing a fractured world, delivering cargo, caring for an adopted child, and quietly holding things together while everything around you threatens to fall apart. Any more and we'd give away all the best bits. It’s also just a great game to sink into, Valentine's Day or not. The slow pace, the haunting landscapes, the rich and complex story. You’re alone, but never truly lonely, thanks to connections with other players. See at Amazon Date Everything!Released: 17 June, 2025Developer: Sassy Chap GamesPlatforms: PC, Nintendo SwitchDate Everything was originally supposed to be released on Valentine's Day so you know it's a game for the lovers among us. Sadly, there was a slight delay, but it was worth it. It's an absurd dating sim that lets you romance just about anything: household objects, concepts, and increasingly unhinged ideas, all in one night. It’s commitment-free, maximalist affection at its finest--and crucially, something you can enjoy alone without judgment. Perfect for those who are single on Valentine's Day but still love the thrill of the first date. You can flirt with your fridge, connect with a lamp, and still have time left over to get saucy with one of your emotions come to life. It’s knowingly ridiculous, but also genuinely well-written, with each “date” feeling distinct rather than a throwaway joke, and the collect-a-thon vibe keeping things going for hours on end. We also think it provides some great gay romance game representation, with characters of varying tastes and orientations throughout.Date Everything is a great Valentine’s pick, with no pressure to find meaning in romantic encounters, and no fear of fumbling a real life catch. Date Everything says what if dating was just… fun? No expectations, no future planning, just getting weird with it. See at Fanatical The Crush HouseReleased: 9 August, 2024Developer: NerialPlatforms: PC, PlayStation 5The Crush House lets you live out your Valentine’s Day fantasies the healthiest way possible: by watching other people make terrible romantic decisions on reality TV. You play as a producer manipulating a raunchy, deeply messy show, nudging contestants toward drama while keeping a close eye on the ratings. There's also an underlying plot thread of some sinister goings on, if you can tear your eyes away from the bikinis and slapfights. If sitting back and watching another season of Love Island feels a bit passive, check this indie gem out instead--it's one of those great spicy games that's genuinely fun to play. It’s a game about spectacle and control, and it understands exactly why reality romance is so compelling. You’re not here to fall in love--you’re here to observe it, tweak it, and occasionally set it on fire or give in to the dark desires of your target audiences. The Crush House is perfect if you want romance without vulnerability, intimacy without effort, and the smug satisfaction of knowing that, actually, your evening is going much better than theirs. See at Fanatical Do Not Feed The MonkeysReleased: 24 October, 2018Developer: Fictiorama StudiosPlatforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo SwitchSometimes the best way to deal with your own loneliness is to watch other people’s lives quietly implode. Do Not Feed The Monkeys puts you in charge of monitoring strangers through hacked cameras, observing their secrets, routines, and inevitable poor choices. The game is all about restraint. You’re told not to interfere, but the temptation is always there. Should you help? Should you exploit what you see? Or should you just watch? That push and pull makes it strangely compelling, especially on a day when introspection is hard to avoid. Its sense of creeping dread is complimented by bursts of dark humor that keeps things from getting too heavy, and can be played in one or two sittings to get different outcomes. See at Fanatical Promise Mascot AgencyReleased: 21 June, 2024Developer: Kaizen Game WorksPlatforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/SPromise Mascot Agency is warm, empathetic, and genuinely heartfelt--as well as being off-the-wall bonkers in its execution. Ostensibly, the plot is all about running a struggling mascot agency in a small town and slowly building connections through kindness and persistence… there's just a bunch of stuff in there about Yakuza curses, cover-up conspiracies, and the like, nothing to worry about. It's genreless, chaotic, creative gaming at its best.On Valentine’s Day, it’s easy to feel cynical about love, but this game reframes connection as something broader and more communal. You’re not chasing romance; you’re helping people, fixing small problems, and watching friendships grow. There’s comfort in that, especially today. The game’s charm comes from its characters and tone. It’s funny without being mean, emotional without being melodramatic. Promise Mascot Agency is great if you want a reminder that affection doesn’t have to be romantic to matter, and that being kind, even in small ways, can be its own reward. I know, cheesy. I'll stop now. See at Humble Mask of the RoseReleased: 8 June, 2023Developer: Failbetter GamesPlatforms: PCMask of the Rose is a narrative-heavy spin-off set in the Fallen London universe, blending mystery, politics, and sexy old-timey fantasy people. It’s wordy, indulgent, and absolutely aware of how much it wants you to fancy its characters, even the ones that aren't strictly human. Despite being a visual novel, there's plenty to do and a range of choices to make as you progress, meaning you can pick a new beau every time. You play a newcomer navigating a murder investigation while forming relationships that can turn romantic, rivalrous, or both. You can matchmake others, or fulfil your own desires, no matter how strange they may be. Mask of the Rose doesn't shy away from the more poetic side of romance, understanding that attraction can be intense, complex, and full of longing. If you’re spending the evening alone, you might as well be a little unabashed about who--or what--you’re crushing on. Fight With LoveReleased: 13 August, 2021Developer: Studio ÉlanPlatforms: PCFight With Love is a ridiculous concept but might be a good shout if you're not opposed to slightly janky, trippy card games with rhythm-based intercourse sections. The game takes the deckbuilder format and smashes it together with a dating sim--you’re building decks and relationships at the same time, and both require careful choices and strategic timing. If you want to successfully woo the other party, you'll need to get your cards to spell out a seductive sentence, or risk scaring them off. See at Steam Silent Hill FReleased: 23 September, 2025Developer: NeoBards EntertainmentPlatforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PCSilent Hill f is the perfect Valentine’s Day game for singles, hear me out. How many relationships have you been in where the other party is too afraid to play horror games, or walks in at an awkward moment and you find yourself having to explain what's going on (badly)? How often, when in a committed relationship, would you have time to sit and play a game that offers multiple playthroughs uninterrupted? Singles: rejoice. Now is your time to get fully immersed with no distractions, and enjoy something truly new and original with the familiar veneer of Silent Hill's iconic tone. Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill F leans into body horror, symbolism, and deeply unsettling imagery. It's an unmissable game with a great story to tell that’s best experienced in silence and away from questioning eyes. This entry is a spin off rather than a continuation of the Silent Hill series, focusing on isolation and transformation, using horror as a lens for internal turmoil and demanding your full attention. No compromises, no shared controller, no awkward pauses to clarify lore. Turns out being alone is exactly what a story like this needs. See at Fanatical Lost Records: Bloom & RageReleased: 18 February, 2025Developer: DON’T NODPlatforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PCLost Records: Bloom & Rage is tender, nostalgic, and unapologetically emotional, so if you want to just cry it out on Valentine's Day, no one's gonna judge you. It follows a group of friends across two timelines, exploring memory, identity, and the ache of growing apart, while solving a central mystery and making choices that determine how your story will end. It’s paced slowly, letting conversations breathe and emotions linger. You’re encouraged to sit with discomfort, regret, and affection without rushing to resolution. Sometimes you don’t need distraction--you need to just let it wash over you. Lost Records doesn’t try to fix your feelings, it validates them. If you want to end Valentine’s Day emotionally wrung out but lighter for it, this is a beautiful way to do exactly that. It's ok to cry sometimes. See at Steam

Title: Saros: eclipse escalation gameplay revealed, customization options detailed   Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2026 23:09:30 +0000 Link: https://blog.playstation.com/2026/02/12/saros-eclipse-escalation-gameplay-revealed-customization-options-detailed/ Today, we are stoked to share more about our “come back stronger” and Eclipse escalation gameplay with you all in Saros, which launches April 30 on PlayStation 5 and enhanced for PlayStation 5 Pro. Play Video This footage, captured on PS5 at 60fps, is still a work in progress, so expect tweaks, fixes, and upgrades for our launch. The Passage has you The Passage is a Carcosan temple with a vast history for you to discover and serves as the game’s central hub. In the Passage you can speak with other Echelon IV crew, explore more world building, and find a mysterious banyan tree. It’s also where, using our come back stronger mechanics, you can upgrade yourself using collected Lucenite and Halycon from your eclipse cycles on Carcosa. Armor Matrix upgrades your playstyle  Upgrading is done via Echelon IV’s Primary unit, a Soltari AI that allows you to adjust your Enforcer Armor via the Armor Matrix. By using your collected resources you can upgrade your armor to suit your playstyle. Do you want to upgrade maximum armor integrity so you can take more damage? Do you want to make Lucenite gain faster so you collect more per cycle? Or upgrade your armor’s power capacity to have longer shield usage? Key additions like our Second Chance system are also unlocked as you progress through the Armour Matrix. World Dial Teleportation allows fast travel Primary also allows you to teleport directly to any previously unlocked biome, making our cycles more digestible. Marathon runs are possible, but you can also now teleport directly to your last biome start. On death your collected main and power weapons will be kept, so if you found a great Soltari shotgun, or Carcosan weaponry on death, you will start with it once again. Carcosan Modifiers change your experience With Carcosan modifiers you can adjust your experience to make Saros more challenging or more forgiving. Carcosan Modifiers come in two types: Protection Modifiers reduce challenge by doing things like decreasing incoming damage, making it easier to reload your weapon, or extending the time you can use your Shield. By contrast, Trial Modifiers make the game more challenging by making Hostiles more aggressive, your weapon’s power degrade over time, or even removing your Second Chance ability entirely. The combination of Modifiers you choose is entirely up to you, but crucially Protections and Trials must be kept in balance to ensure a consistent challenge level. Eclipse escalation In Saros the eclipse corrupts the weapons, artifacts, world and people’s minds. Arjun must push through the eclipse to find answers, but with every attempt it adds corruption to Carcosa. The eclipse also changes certain biomes properties. In the Blighted Marsh, which you’ll see in the above trailer, how the marsh water comes alive and burns players when the eclipse is activated. Title: Untitled John Wick Game is a gun fu Baba Yaga brawler, and a weird cousin to Untitled Goose Game until proven otherwise Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 11:40:56 +0000 Link: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/untitled-john-wick-game-is-a-gun-fu-baba-yaga-brawler-and-a-weird-cousin-to-untitled-goose-game-until-proven-otherwise A goose with your skillset must be able to honk freely, unconstricted. They must be versatile, capable, adaptable. They must be grounded, stable, constant. I believe you are ready, goose. Honk. That isn't quite what Keanu Reeves' talkative tailor says in the reveal trailer for Space Marine 2 devs Saber's Untitled John Wick Game, but it's what I heard. The stubbled and suited hitman's latest journey into videogamedom is touted as an uber-faithful putting of Wick's cinematic martial arts brawling and gunfighting into your hands, but until Saber prove otherwise, I'm treating it as a spiritual twin to House House's Untitled Goose Game. Title: Castlevania: Belmont's Curse sees Dead Cells' devs bring back vampire whippage, and Konami say it's just the start of a revival Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 10:06:52 +0000 Link: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/castlevania-belmonts-curse-sees-dead-cells-devs-bring-back-vampire-whippage-and-konami-say-its-just-the-start-of-a-revival Sharpen your fangs and chuck out all of the garlic bread in your house, Castlevania's back with a new game co-developed by the folks who made roguelike-Metroidvania Dead Cells. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is the name of this fresh bout of vampire whippage set in medieval Paris, which publishers Konami have teased is just the first of many Castlevania things they have coming as the series turns 40. Title: Get your trunks on kids, Kojima's taking us to the beach when Death Stranding 2 comes to PC next month Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2026 23:54:19 +0000 Link: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/get-your-trunks-on-kids-kojimas-taking-us-to-the-beach-when-death-stranding-2-comes-to-pc-next-month You knew it was coming, I knew it was coming, and now one Mr. Hideo Kojima himself (disclaimer: technically it was Sony during tonight's State of Play, though I'm sure he's Fweeted about it on Fwitter) has confirmed that yes, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is making its way to PC. It's also doing so pretty soon, and with a small suite of additional features not present in its original PS5 release. Read more
Title: Make what you will of ZA/UM's Zero Parades with this lengthy look at gameplay ahead of a demo later this month Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2026 21:48:50 +0000 Link: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/make-what-you-will-of-zaums-zero-parades-with-this-lengthy-look-at-gameplay-ahead-of-a-demo-later-this-month If there is anything that is concretely true about the upcoming Disco Elysium follow-up Zero Parades, it is that it is certainly a new RPG from ZA/UM. Everything else, well, that depends on who you ask, and where they lie in the messiness that has been in and around the studio these past few years, but a ZA/UM game in name it is. And now there are two opportunities for you to form a more direct opinion about Zero Parades, and its quality therewithin. Read more
Title: Peter Molyneux plays the hits in an in-depth-but-not-too-in-depth gameplay trailer for Masters of Albion Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2026 21:10:42 +0000 Link: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/peter-molyneux-plays-the-hits-in-an-in-depth-but-not-too-in-depth-gameplay-trailer-for-masters-of-albion There is certainly something to be admired in Peter Molyneux's commitment to infinitely overpromising right through to what is meant to be his final game, Masters of Albion. I'm not saying I admire it, but someone might. And while I truly have no horse in the race regarding the quality, or potential lack thereof, in Masters of Albion, its latest gameplay trailer certainly does at least suggest it'll be a true as it can be Molyneux game.
