Title: Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey Now Has Its Own Game
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 2026 13:12:25 +0000
Link: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/christopher-nolans-the-odyssey-now-has-its-own-game/
Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's newest movie, The Odyssey, releases on July 17, and ahead of that, an official companion game is now available on Roblox.
A survival sailing adventure game, The Odyssey: Defy the Gods, is out now on Roblox, and it's free. Players will assemble a crew, ration supplies, and "appease the gods for the right of safe passage" across the ocean.
In the game, players will scavenge mysterious worlds to find food and crew that have gone missing. Out on the ocean, players have to survive in the elements like Odysseus did during his perilous journey.
Defy the Gods is out now on Roblox.
Defy the Gods is rated "Minimal" for its maturity rating, and as part of Roblox's new safety measures, it's limited to people 18 and up. The game's content description notes that it contains occasional/mild "fear" and "violence."
Roblox is so big and popular that brands make games for it to promote their content, and that's what Universal Pictures did here with Defy the Gods. The movie is expected to appeal to an older audience, so reaching out to Roblox's younger base could be an effort to help convince younger people to go see it.

Written and directed by Christopher Nolan and based on Homer's epic tale, The Odyssey stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, with Tom Holland portraying Telemachus. Anne Hathaway plays Penelope, while Robert Pattinson appears as Antinous. The movie also features Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, Elliot Page, and Jon Bernthal.
It's Nolan's first film since 2023's Oppenheimer, which made $975 million globally.
Title: All Phasmophobia Ouija Board Questions and Answers
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 2026 12:15:07 +0000
Link: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/all-phasmophobia-ouija-board-questions-and-answers/
In Phasmophobia, the Ouija Board is a cursed object that lets you communicate directly with the ghost. You can use the Ouija Board to ask the ghost questions about itself, including its motives and behaviors, location, cause of death, and age, or ask it to tell you your sanity level, to reveal the bone’s location, and more. The ghost will respond to valid questions using the board, either indicating ‘yes,’ ‘no,’ or spelling out its answer using the numbers and letters on the board. If you’re feeling brave, you can even prompt the ghost to play a game of hide-and-seek with you.
To activate the board, simply pick it up, place it on a flat surface, and press the use button. You’ll know it’s active because the planchette (a black, upside-down heart piece) drops onto the board. You can then use the game’s voice chat or text-based UI to ask your questions. Just note that the text-based UI options are more limited than the voice chat ones. If the planchette doesn’t move, you’ve asked an invalid question; if it does, then your question has been successful.
As with all Phasmophobia’s cursed objects, using the Ouija Board doesn’t come without consequence. Every successful question zaps a percentage of the user's sanity, ranging from 5% (for questions less critical to the investigation) to 50% (for questions that will greatly aid your investigation). If you ask a question that requires more sanity than you have, or don’t deactivate the board safely, the board breaks, and a cursed hunt is triggered.
Below, we’ve listed the main Ouija Board questions you can ask, their potential answers, and the drain on your sanity the question will have. However, this list is not exhaustive, as players have asked countless silly questions when using the board over the years and, in some cases, the ghost has responded. So, it’s always worth trying some of your own, too.

Title: All Phasmophobia Tarot Cards and Effects
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 2026 12:05:26 +0000
Link: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/all-phasmophobia-tarot-cards-and-effects/
If you want the thrill of playing supernatural russian roulette, then Phasmophobia's Tarot Card cursed objects offer the opportunity--but use them at your own risk. There are 10 unique Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia, each of which triggers a positive or negative effect on either the ghost or the player. While these positive effects can prove helpful to your investigation by boosting your sanity, reviving a dead player, or trapping the ghost in its room, the negative effects can be lethal, potentially triggering a cursed hunt, draining your sanity, or even killing you instantly.
When you pick up a deck of Tarot Cards, it contains 10 random cards from the overall selection, which may contain duplicates. By using the deck, you draw one card from it, which burns in your hand in a specific color (apart from The Hanged Man, which doesn't burn). While most cards have one unique burn color, one has two--signifying if the effects are good or bad. The risky part? You don’t know which card you’ve pulled until it’s too late. Each card has its own draw chance, with some cards, like The Tower, more commonly drawn and others, like The Hanged Man, much rarer finds. While you don’t have to draw all the cards, it may be worth it if you’re after a specific card, like The High Priestess, which can revive a dead player.
Below, we break down what all 10 Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia are, what effects they have, and the chance you have of drawing them.
All Tarot Cards, effects, and draw chances
The Tower
Get used to seeing this Tarot Card.
The Tower (which burns blue) is one of the most common cards you’ll find in the Tarot deck, with a draw chance of 20%, and you’ll likely draw it more than once in the same deck. While this can be a bit frustrating, The Tower is useful for identifying the ghost as it doubles ghost activity for 20 seconds, potentially helping you gather an extra bit of evidence.
The Wheel of Fortune
Keep an eye on the color The Wheel of Fortune burns.
The Wheel of Fortune is another common draw from the Tarot deck, with a 20% chance of being pulled. However, whether this card has a positive or negative effect depends on the color it burns. If the card burns red, you lose 25% sanity; if it burns green, you gain 25% sanity. There’s an equal chance of either burn color.
The Fool
If you pull a card and it burns light purple, it is actually The Fool.
The Fool card (which burns light purple) is a bit of a pain, as it has no effects and will first mimic another Tarot card before burning up to reveal it's actually this one. There’s a 17% chance of pulling The Fool normally, but if you draw Tarot Cards during a hunt, every card will be this one.
The Devil
Have a camera (and maybe a hiding spot) at the ready.
The Devil card (which burns pink) has a 10% chance of being drawn, and if it is, it will trigger a ghost event next to the player who’s closest to the ghost. While this can be useful for media capture, it makes The Devil the card most likely to give you a jumpscare.
Death
You better hide quick.
Death (which burns purple) is one of the Tarot Cards you probably don’t want to draw. Fortunately, there’s only a 10% chance of doing so. This card triggers a cursed hunt--an aggressive, longer hunt that extends the duration of all subsequent normal hunts.
The Hermit
The Hermit can be useful for identifying the ghost room.
The Hermit (which burns cyan) has a 10% draw chance and forces the ghost to return to its favorite room, where it is trapped for one minute. During that time, it can still hunt and trigger ghost events, but this card can be a useful pull when you need help identifying the ghost room, capturing media, or collecting evidence.
The Sun
The Sun saves you from popping sanity medication.
The Sun (which burns yellow) sets your sanity to 100%, but isn’t a common find, with just a 5% draw chance.
The Moon
You may need to pop some sanity medication after this pull.
The opposite of The Sun, the Moon (which burns white) sets your sanity to 0%. Fortunately, it is also an uncommon pull, with just a 5% draw chance.
The High Priestess
If your friend dies, pulling this card could resurrect them.
While there’s only a 2% chance to draw it, The High Priestess (which burns light yellow) is one of the most coveted cards in the Tarot deck. This card revives a dead player in the spot in which they died--if there’s more than one dead player, it goes in order of who joined the lobby first. The best part is, even if no one is currently dead, it will resurrect the next player to die, but it can only resurrect one player, no matter how many times you draw it from the same deck. Just make sure to give your team a heads up you’ve drawn it, because there’s nothing worse than being resurrected while you’re AFK, only to be killed again.
The Hanged Man
You do not want to draw The Hanged Man.
With a 1% draw chance, The Hanged Man is the rarest card you can draw from a Tarot Card deck, but also the most dreaded. Pulling this card instantly kills the player who drew it.
Tarot Cards tip
You can make the Tarot Card deck a bit less risky.
If you're a bit of a scaredy cat, there is a Phasmophobia trick you can use to avoid the main effects of the Death and The Devil Tarot Cards. Take your deck of cards outside and stand in front of an open exit door facing toward the inside of the property. Move inside the investigation area/property--just enough over the door threshold for the cards to be interactable--and draw a card, immediately (and quickly) backing out of the door again during the draw animation. Make sure to back up as the card is being pulled and to back out of the door before the card burns up.
By using this method, if you draw a Death card, the cursed hunt will trigger, but you won’t be inside the investigation area, so you won’t have to escape the ghost hunt but the extended hunt duration for normal hunts afterward will still apply. Just make sure your squad is out, too, unless you’re a chaos merchant. In addition, this trick renders The Devil card redundant. However, the effects of all other cards can still be activated, including the dreaded The Hanged Man.
Title: Phasmophobia Tips and Tricks Every Ghost Hunter Needs To Know
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 2026 12:04:48 +0000
Link: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/phasmophobia-tips-and-tricks-every-ghost-hunter-needs-to-know/
Phasmophobia’s tutorial may teach you the basics of gathering evidence and escaping a ghost hunt, but there are plenty of ghost-hunting tips and tricks it doesn't tell you, including pointers for finding the ghost room, identifying the ghost without evidence, improving the likelihood of gathering evidence, and ways to fix frustrating equipment or voice recognition issues.
The list below is far from exhaustive and primarily focuses on the Phasmophobia tips we believe are, generally, the most helpful. While many of these suggestions are aimed at beginner and intermediate players, there may be some useful tips that more seasoned players don’t know about. So, read on for our top 14 tips and tricks for Phasmophobia.

Recommended starting equipment
Make sure to turn off the breaker immediately.
This one is definitely for beginners. If you’ve just started your ghost hunting journey, you may be wondering what equipment to take into the investigation area first. Three of the best starter items are an EMF Reader, a thermometer, and a video camera (though you may need to leave one behind and take a torch for light), as these items can help you identify the ghost and its room.
The EMF will help you detect early activity, with stronger readings closer to where the ghost is, which may lead you to its favorite room. The video camera is useful as, with night vision enabled, it can be used to find ghost orbs. You won’t always find ghost orbs, but if you do, you know you’ve found the ghost’s location. Ghost orbs also count as evidence, but they’re not very trustworthy, as a Mimic will spawn ghost orbs, even if it's not a piece of official evidence.
The thermometer is our favorite starter item, as the ghost’s room is usually colder than the other rooms of the property, meaning you can wander around and take the temperature of each room to find which it is (you may also get a cold breath animation in the correct room). Just make sure you immediately turn on the breaker if it’s off when you begin the contract—to raise the house to normal temperature—and keep it on if you want to test for freezing temperature evidence, indicated by a zero-degree Celsius reading. Do note: if it’s snowing outside, the investigation area will naturally be colder, but a temperature below five degrees may indicate the ghost room.
Fix the Tier 3 Head Gear's blurriness
Make the Tier 3 Head Gear's image clearer.
If you’re a more seasoned player who avoids using the Tier 3 Head Gear due to its blurry night vision, this trick might help make it more palatable. When you’re in the van, equip the Tier 3 Head Gear and activate it using the Head Gear toggle button. Go to the CCTV camera screen, with the headset activated, and look at the camera, then step away. This should make the night-vision image clearer, even if it’s still green. If you get a bug where your surroundings are blurry after you take off the headset, look at the camera again (without the night vision headset activated) to fix it.
Learn how (and when) to loop
Dining tables are great for looping.
If you also enjoy a bit of Dead by Daylight, you’ll be no stranger to looping. In Phasmophobia, looping is an evasive technique in which you tightly circle an in-map object (like a piece of furniture or a car) while being chased by a ghost during a hunt, staying within its line of sight so it continues to follow you, but far enough away from the spooky spectre to not be killed. It’s a great way to waste the ghost’s time during a hunt, to escape the ghost when there are no hiding spots, or to buy time for your teammates to scarper or gather evidence, especially during more difficult contracts.
However, looping is risky, and you may die a few times before you get it right. So, it’s worth watching streamers do it first, then practicing on smaller maps at lower difficulty. Be aware that sometimes looping isn’t the best choice, especially against fast ghosts like Revenants, Morois (at low sanity level), Thayes (early game), Hantus (when its cold), Raijus (if you have electric equipment active), and Mimics (if they’re copying any of these ghost types).
Utilize cursed possessions when you need help
A risky way to increase ghost activity.
If you’re stuck identifying a ghost room or type, using cursed objects, including the Monkey Paw, Voodoo Doll, and Tarot Cards, may help with your investigation. These objects can increase ghost activity, tell you the ghost’s location, and even resurrect a friend, but using them will drain your sanity -- and some come with even greater risks.
Use the text-based UI if you're struggling with voice recognition
If you’re finding that you’re having difficulty using cursed objects that require voice recognition, like the Ouija Board or the Spirit Box, then it may be worth changing your in-game settings to a text-based UI. Open your menu, go to ‘Options,’ then select ‘Game’. Next to ‘Voice Recognition Mode,’ it should say ‘Voice.’ Select the arrows next to it until you get to ‘Text’, then select ‘Apply’. Now, you will be presented with a text-based UI menu of interactions and question options when you use an object that requires voice recognition. This is particularly helpful if you don’t have a headset or, like me, have an accent the game struggles to understand.
Learn to smudge properly
Make sure you time it right.
Knowing how to properly smudge a ghost with Incense can be the difference between life and death, as it can temporarily blind a ghost, slow it, redirect it, or stop it in its tracks (depending on its tier), giving you a few extra valuable seconds to escape. However, like looping, smudging takes practice, and you may die a few times before you get it right.
Like Phasmophobia’s other equipment, each tier of Incense has different capabilities, with increased range and burning duration at the higher tiers, plus the ability to slow the ghost at Tier 2 and stop it at Tier 3. All require an equipped Igniter to use. To smudge a ghost during a hunt, wait until you hear your heartbeat and are within your Incense tier’s required radius, then either light the smudge and break line of sight to give you extra time to escape. However, the more effective method is to face the ghost, wait until it’s within range, then light your Incense and quickly run through the ghost. During the smudge's brief burning duration, you are invulnerable, so this gives you enough time to walk through the ghost and sprint in the opposite direction to where it’s walking.
Get in the habit of closing doors
Keep an eye and ear out for door movement.
It may sound simple, and I may sound like a mother, but closing doors can help you identify where the ghost is and gather evidence. Whenever you and your squad search a property, make sure everyone gets used to closing doors behind them, even in the ghost room. While your instinct may be to leave doors open so you can easily escape to a hiding place if a hunt starts, closing them allows you to easily spot (and hear) if a door moves, helping you work out where the ghost may be lurking or roaming and potentially increasing the chance of picking up UV evidence.
Understand unique ghost abilities
Learn the characteristics and behaviors of each ghost.
While ghosts have three pieces of official evidence you can gather to identify them, each also has hidden abilities, characteristics, and behaviors that you can’t tick off in your journal, such as the sanity level it hunts at, its speed, how a room’s temperature or lighting affects its activity, and unique evidence. For example, the Obake is the only ghost that can leave behind a six-fingered UV handprint and shapeshift.
The best way to learn these behaviors is by reading the ghost’s description in your journal, watching streamers, and, well, playing. Keep your eyes and ears open during the contract, listening and watching for extra tells and getting to grips with differences between each ghost. This skill becomes essential at higher difficulty levels when there's less (or even no) evidence available.
Get down a Ghost Writing Book early
This could take a while.
Getting the ghostwriting evidence can take some time, as ghosts that do have this as official evidence will randomly decide when they’ll scribble something down. So, as soon as you identify the ghost room, you should place down a Ghost Writing Book (or two) as early as you can. If the book remains undisturbed for a while but is definitely in the right room, try moving it a smidge, but don’t rule out ghost writing as evidence. However, if the ghost throws the book, it has rejected it, and you can rule ghostwriting out.
Moving mannequins
They're creepy, but they can be useful.
Spotted a mannequin in an investigation area that’s not where it normally would be? It might indicate where the ghost room is. Mannequins can be found in Bleasdale Farmhouse, Grafton Farmhouse, Willow Street, Edgefield, and Ridgeview Court, usually in the basement or garage — though they are also found in the workroom in Grafton and in the attic or master bedroom in Bleasdale. If a mannequin suddenly appears in a location different from its original one, it’s worth checking the room it's usually found in for the ghost, as the ghost can teleport mannequins. Also, occasionally check for a change in mannequin poses or positions, as ghosts can interact with mannequins outside of teleporting them, but not when you’re looking at them.
Account for the weather
The Blood Moon makes hunts more challenging.
When you start a contract, look at the weather. Is it snowing? Rainy? Windy? Or is there an ominous red moon in the sky? Weather is randomly generated and can affect your investigation by impacting visibility, noise disruption, and the temperature of the investigation area, but some conditions have a more noticeable impact than others. The ones to be particularly mindful of are Blood Moon (the red sky), snow, and heavy rain.
The Blood Moon weather condition makes the ghost faster during hunts, increases ghost activity, and increases sanity drain by 100%, but it also increases contract rewards by x10. Snow will mean you see cold breath throughout the property, not just the ghost room, and it drops the overall temperature to between three and five degrees Celsius, which can make it harder to identify the ghost room if one of the ghost’s pieces of evidence isn’t freezing temperatures. Then there’s heavy rain, which stops Tier 1 and Tier 2 Igniters and Firelights from working outside, making it difficult to have the ghost blow out a Firelight in outdoor maps and preventing you from using Incense outside.
Turn off your electronics during a hunt
Turn it off to prevent the ghost finding you easily.
Another beginner tip, but one that even seasoned players can forget from time to time. Have you ever hidden from a ghost, only for it to find you, despite not being a Deogen? If you take electronic equipment into the investigation area, make sure to turn it off when the ghost is hunting, especially when you’re hiding. Active electronic equipment makes you more visible to ghosts and, if you’re facing a Raiju, it’ll actually make it more powerful. If you regularly forget, it may be worth using lower-tier, non-electrical equipment to prevent this.
Higher tier equipment isn't always better
Use the equipment you feel works best for you.
Just because you unlock the higher tier of an item doesn’t mean you have to use it. In fact, sometimes lower-tier equipment is more beneficial due to its capabilities or general handiness. Take the Salt, for example. Tier 3 Salt slows down a ghost that steps in it, but it also forces the ghost (outside of a hunt) to change direction. This may not be ideal if you want the ghost to come your way or gauge the ghost’s speed properly. Others choose lower-tier items simply because they prefer them, with some players feeling sick using the Tier 3 Head Gear due to its night vision or preferring to stick to lower-tier non-electric equipment that they don’t need to turn off during a hunt. See what suits you and go with that.
Finding the ghost on larger maps
Follow the sound.
Locating the ghost on larger maps like Sunny Meadows and Prison can be tricky, but there are a couple of ways to make it a bit easier. First, check the CCTV cameras in the van for visible ghost orbs that may help you narrow down your search area. You may not see any, but if you do, it can be helpful. However, one of the best ways to find the ghost on a large map is by using a Parabolic Microphone. This item can amplify sounds, so turn it on and follow the direction of any ghost interaction sounds. Just make sure you don’t accidentally follow your teammates' footsteps.

Yikes! While the skin might make your golfer look like the Statue of Liberty if they were a guest character in Dead by Daylight, it's actually designed to resemble the neoclassical sculpture. The outfit certainly captures the wear and tear that the statue has picked up across the decades, but when that look is transformed into a golfing ensemble--complete with mask and crown--it just looks unsettling and filthy.
If that's your kind of fashion while you nail a putt, then you can drop some Virtual Currency on this fashion crime through the PGA Tour Superstore. Individual July 4 cosmetic items typically cost between 1,000 VC and 1,500 VC each, with a full outfit ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 VC. In real-world cash, that means you could pay up to $50 for a complete PGA outfit.
Anyone who has picked up a 2K game from Take-Two Interactive--including its wrestling and NBA games as well--will be familiar with how these titles are monetized. GTA 6 is also looking to extract extra value out of players, as the base edition of the game costs $80, while the Ultimate Edition on preorder is priced at $100 and includes access to several extra stores, alongside various cosmetics. Is that approach turning people off? Not in the slightest, because preorders are already looking very healthy.

For a game that’s scheduled to launch in just five months, we sure haven’t seen much ofGrand Theft Auto 6yet. Despite first revealing the game in 2023, we’ve only gotten two trailers, a boatload of screenshots, and a look at the game’s box art. We haven’t seen any actual gameplay yet, and haven’t learned much at all about how it will differ from GTA 5. We didn’t even get a new trailer to hype up preorders when Rockstar revealed GTA 6’s $80 price tag.

Coined in 2009 by TV producer and comic book writer John Rogers, "competence porn" is a sort of informal subgenre of entertainment that's built around watching characters who are genuinely quite good at their jobs. Rogers' own show Leverage is a primary example thereof, but fans also point at Star Trek: The Next Generation, some (but not all) Batman stories, Project Hail Mary, Ocean's Eleven, and Fargo . There's a peculiar satisfaction in well-depicted adequacy, which probably says something about our historical moment.

The back end of 2026 is absolutely stacked when it comes to excellent video games, and one of the standouts is Onimusha: Way of the Sword. This upcoming Capcom game is an action-adventure RPG set in ancient Kyoto, Japan, where you play as a samurai wielding a gauntlet that allows you to slay Genma, mysterious monstrosities that have risen from the underworld.

Star Trek is in a tough spot. The 59-year-old sci-fi franchise launched a series of streaming shows over the past decade in an attempt to build Paramount Plus into a true Netflix competitor. Now, that effort is winding down as Trekkies prepare for the Original Series' 60th birthday this September. But before then, the last show standing from Star Trek's streaming era will take one more big swing this summer.

Summer savings are heating up. From the Steam Summer Sale to GeForce NOW membership discounts, this week’s GFN Thursday delivers double the deals and more ways to get the most value from cloud gaming.
Plus, Dark Scrolls joins the growing Devolver lineup, alongside Square Enix’s The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. They lead the charge for six new games joining the GeForce NOW library this week.
Steam Dreams Are Made of These
Add to cart, not to storage.
The Steam Summer Sale is here, bringing discounts across thousands of PC games as one of the year’s biggest opportunities to grow a gaming library.
Supported Steam games can be streamed across devices with GeForce NOW, making it easy to buy a game once, keep progress synced and pick up where the gameplay left off on PCs, Macs, handheld devices, phones, TVs and more.
In other words, the Steam Summer Sale brings the deals; GeForce NOW adds the flexibility.
As new titles expand collections, storage demands and hardware requirements expand with them. GeForce NOW helps remove those barriers by streaming supported games from powerful GeForce RTX servers in the cloud, allowing members to enjoy today’s biggest games on devices they already own. Since downloads and installs are handled in the cloud, games can be added to the cart without being added to storage.
Check out the “Sales & Special Offers” row in the GeForce NOW app to discover the discounts today.
The Ultimate Upgrade to Level Up for Less
The upgrade every game deserves.
The deals don’t stop there. Pair GeForce NOW’s summer sale with the Steam Summer Sale to spend less time waiting on downloads, managing storage or needing pricey hardware upgrades — and more time gaming.
Get $70 off a 12-month Ultimate membership or $35 off a 12-month Performance membership and experience GeForce RTX-powered gaming in the cloud across devices.
The Ultimate membership unlocks GeForce RTX 4080- and 5080-class performance in the cloud with up to 4K resolution, up to 120 frames per second (fps) and advanced technologies like NVIDIA DLSS, ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex.
Dig Into Devolver
Written in chaos.
Dark Scrolls, the kinetic action roguelite from Devolver Digital, arrives on GeForce NOW with its blend of fast combat, evolving builds and unapologetic chaos. Set in a warped fantasy world that doesn’t take itself too seriously, players battle through shifting arenas packed with enemies, hazards and power-ups that can turn a run from fragile to unstoppable in seconds.
Stack abilities, experiment with wild combinations and adapt on the fly as the game constantly raises the stakes — rewarding bold play as much as careful movement.
On GeForce NOW, Dark Scrolls is ready the moment players are, streaming across devices with no downloads or setup required. It joins a growing lineup of Devolver Digital titles on the service — Cult of the Lamb, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, Inscryption, Enter the Gungeon and Ball x Pit — each delivering that distinct mix of style, surprise and controlled chaos, and just a click away with GeForce NOW.
A Storybook Across Centuries
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales arrives on GeForce NOW, delivering a charming, narrative-driven adventure filled with mystery and discovery. With a hand-crafted world and a focus on exploration, it blends classic adventure gameplay with modern, character-driven storytelling.
Follow Elliot — a curious traveler bound to a mysterious Millennium Core — as he’s pulled across eras in a journey that spans neon skylines, forgotten ruins and quiet villages on the edge of legend. Each era has its own rules and rhythms, with Elliot’s reactions and scribbled journal notes giving the story a warm, personal touch.
Stream the cinematic-quality visuals and responsive gameplay with GeForce RTX power in the cloud for Ultimate members. Experience Elliot’s time-twisting journey in sharp detail across supported devices — no high-end rig, patches or paradox prep required. Just jump in and pick up from wherever the last chapter left off.
In addition, members can look for the following:
Dark Scrolls (New release on Steam, available June 22)
SAND: Raiders of Sophie (New release on Steam, available June 22)
Deer & Boy (New release on Steam, available June 23)
EMPULSE (New release on Steam, available June 24)
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales (Steam)
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (Steam)
Leaving the last word to the Community Corner, one GeForce NOW member recently shared being “so impressed” by GeForce NOW. They gave the service a spin because of affordable pricing and took a lower-end PC from 20-30 fps on low settings to 60+ fps with settings maxed out — really putting the WoW in their World of Warcraft.

Title: Sync and Stream: GeForce NOW Connects to Members’ Game Libraries Across Devices
Date: Thu, 18 Jun 2026 13:00:32 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/geforce-now-thursday-game-stores/
Play favorite titles from popular game libraries, keep progress synced and jump back into gaming sessions on virtually any device.
That’s the power of GeForce NOW cloud gaming.
From providing access to members’ favorite game libraries to offering some of the season’s best membership pricing, GeForce NOW is making it easier than ever to get more from the cloud this summer.
Plus, check out the seven new games arriving in the GeForce NOW library this week.
Hit Play Across Top Game Stores
That’s a whole lotta ways to play.
Whether it’s blockbuster franchises, competitive shooters, sprawling role-playing games (RPGs) or indie gems, GeForce NOW supports thousands of games from leading PC game stores, making it easy to bring existing game libraries to the cloud.
Connect supported game store accounts and stream titles with GeForce RTX power. Games that include cloud-save functionality help keep progress intact across devices. Start a game on one screen, pick up where playtime left off on another and spend less time managing installs and storage space.
Jump into fan favorites like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt streaming through GOG. These sci-fi and fantasy favorites support cloud saves, making it easy to continue where play left off. GOG single sign-on and game library syncing — coming this summer — will make that process even smoother.
Explore ancient mysteries in the Assassin’s Creed franchise or team up for tactical action in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege through Ubisoft+, delivering iconic worlds and competitive experiences to the cloud.
Whether joining massive, all-in combat in Battlefield 6 or shaping the fate of Thedas with compelling companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the EA app offers action-packed experiences and beloved RPGs.
Find them in the GeForce NOW app by simply searching and filtering by store.
Choose the Screen, Keep the Adventure
Gaming doesn’t always happen at a desk — community members are sharing how GeForce NOW lets them play across their favorite devices.
GeForce NOW Ambassador and cloud gaming creator Anytime Anywhere Gaming recently showcased Dead as Disco — a PC title without a native mobile version — running on an iPhone through the cloud.
As he put it: “One of the coolest benefits of GeForce NOW is I can take the same copy of the game I own on Steam and carry it to my iPhone … it’s super awesome being able to play a game on a multitude of devices without having to buy it again.”
That flexibility extends beyond mobile. One GeForce NOW member on Reddit shared being “blown away” by the experience of playing on Mac through the cloud, highlighting how GeForce RTX-powered gaming can be enjoyed across devices, no upgrades required.
Whether via phone on the go, on a MacBook between work meetings or on a TV in the living room, GeForce NOW helps make PC gaming accessible across nearly every screen.
Upgrade and Unlock More This Summer
Summer lovin’, havin’ a sale.
For a limited time, annual memberships are available at the best prices of the year:

Title: Save Big and Play Bigger: GeForce NOW Summer Sale Brings Major Membership Savings
Date: Thu, 11 Jun 2026 13:00:17 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/geforce-now-thursday-summer-sale-2026/
The GeForce NOW summer sale kicked off today with limited-time savings of up to $70 off a 12-month membership, making now the perfect time to upgrade to get the best of the cloud and see just how far Ultimate gaming can go.
PC gamers are driven by one thing: the love of the game. But getting there can be complicated — setups take space, hardware takes planning and downloads take time.
GeForce NOW removes the barriers and delivers instant access to games, high-performance GeForce RTX power in the cloud and the ability to play across nearly any device — all with one membership. Regular upgrades and new features continue to expand the experience, building the value of that membership over time.
Plus, GeForce NOW is always delivering new games — including epic adventures across Tyria. Guild Wars 3 is coming to GeForce NOW, bringing its next-generation massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) experience to the cloud at launch. While awaiting its arrival, the journey begins today with Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars Reforged, along with limited-time exclusive rewards.
Instantly Elevate Every Device
PC gaming demands more from players than ever. Bigger game files and more frequent updates can turn the urge to play into a long list of to-dos.
GeForce NOW streamlines that experience. Installs, patches and updates are handled in the cloud, so games are ready to launch in just a click. Time that would’ve been spent waiting on progress bars can go back into playtime, making it easier to fit gaming into quick breaks on busy days.
High-performance NVIDIA GPUs in the cloud means access to always-ready GeForce RTX performance without having to purchase new hardware. Members can tap into powerful servers that meet rising game requirements and keep pace with today’s games. And memberships continue to improve with platform upgrades — like the free Ultimate upgrade to the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture — extending their value, as well as the life of gamers’ devices, over time.
All of the gaming.
Laptops, phones, tablets and TVs — devices most gamers have at home and already use for school, work and everyday life — can all act as gaming screens. Streaming means not having to worry about hard drive space for installs and updates, or needing the latest devices.
Level up playing on Linux.
These benefits are reinforced by continuous quality-of-life improvements like smoother sign-ins, new platforms — like Linux and Amazon Fire TV — and refinements that make it faster and easier to get into a gaming session.
Together, these benefits make GeForce NOW the easiest way to enjoy PC gaming both instantly and over time, while keeping the focus on what matters most to gamers: getting into the game.
The Biggest Gaming Upgrade, the Best Price of the Year
Sale-ing into summer with huge savings.
For a limited time this summer, GeForce NOW memberships are available at some of the year’s best pricing — with major savings on 12-month memberships:
$35 off a 12-month Performance membership
$70 off a 12-month Ultimate membership
The Performance membership delivers smooth, high-quality cloud gaming across devices, with streaming up to 1080p at 60 frames per second (fps) and access to RTX-powered servers for supported games.
The Ultimate membership steps things up with RTX 4080‑ or 5080‑class performance in the cloud, supporting up to 4K and beyond on ultrawide displays, up to 120 fps, and advanced features like ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex for a more responsive, visually rich experience.
These limited-time discounts won’t last long — beat the heat and jump into GeForce NOW.
A New Legend Rises
One of the best things about the cloud is that every week, new games become available to stream — including new AAA games at launch and the latest content and rewards.
The land of Orr awaits.
Guild Wars 3 marks the next adventure in Tyria — an action-adventure MMORPG where fluid combat, deep character building and a living world of magic and mystery shape every journey. Alliances are forged, spirits awaken and every step forward leaves a lasting mark on an untamed frontier. Be among the first to raise the banner. Gamers can add Guild Wars 3 to their wishlist today and stay up to date on every reveal as it marches toward launch.
While the next chapter in Tyria prepares to unfold, its legacy is ready to be played today.
Return to adventure in Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars Reforged, and unlock exclusive in-game rewards for a limited time — available for GeForce NOW Premium members today through Saturday, July 11, and free to all members beginning Friday, June 12. Be on the lookout for an email with codes to redeem.
In Guild Wars 2, the “Masterpiece Emote Tome” turns every victory into a moment of flair — a chef’s kiss to triumph. Start playing by applying the code through an ArenaNet account or during account creation, then log in to access the emote.
In Guild Wars Reforged, the “Vision of Lyssa” costume brings elegance and illusion to life and includes an account upgrade. Inspired by the twin goddess, this striking ensemble can be worn over any armor. Redeem by adding the code in game, then visit a Costume Maker NPC to claim the reward.
But Wait, There’s More
Duet Night Abyss from Hero Games makes a splash on GeForce NOW, plunging players into a submerged world where survival is shared. Control a synchronized duo tethered by fragile oxygen lines, navigate glowing reefs, drowned ruins and shadowy chasms where every move demands trust and timing. The game’s moody visuals and tense, cooperative focus give each dive the feel of a playable deep-sea thriller.
GeForce NOW is kicking off a new Community Corner for the summer, spotlighting stories and creations from members across the globe. This week, a community story takes the spotlight as a Linux gamer on Reddit shares how GFN has helped them with accessibility gaming, saving storage space on massive titles and minimizing upgrades.
In addition, members can look for the following:
NBA THE RUN (New release on Steam, available on June 9)
Witchspire (New release on Steam, available on June 10)
SpaceCraft (New release on Steam, available on June 11)

Title: NVIDIA, KRAFTON, NC and Reigning ‘League of Legends’ Champions T1 Celebrate RTX Spark at Korea’s PC Bangs
Date: Sun, 07 Jun 2026 07:00:15 +0000
Link: https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/krafton-nc-t1-korea-gaming-pc-bang-rtx-spark/
At GTC Taipei at COMPUTEX last week, NVIDIA unveiled RTX Spark, the superchip that reinvents Windows PCs for the era of personal AI agents. On the heels of this announcement, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang headed to South Korea, where he introduced RTX Spark to the nation’s passionate gaming community.
Leading game developers — including Korea’s KRAFTON and NC — are already working to bring their titles to RTX Spark-powered systems.
Designed for local AI, creating and gaming, RTX Spark brings together 30 years of NVIDIA innovation to slim Windows laptops with all-day battery life and small, ultraefficient desktop PCs.
With the superchip, gamers can play AAA games at 1440p resolution and over 100 frames per second with NVIDIA ray tracing, DLSS and Reflex technologies. In addition, RTX Spark supports all NVIDIA RTX technologies, including the recently announced DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, which features a second-generation transformer model for realistic image quality.
RTX Spark Ignites Korea’s Gaming Community
Korea has played a major role in spearheading esports and driving the boom in PC bangs, or internet and gaming cafes. With longstanding collaborations rooted in the country, NVIDIA in October celebrated 25 years of GeForce in Korea with a free festival for gamers, highlighting the rich gaming ecosystem that has been built over decades.
On Friday, Huang headed to T1 Base Camp — a PC bang owned by T1, one of Korea’s top esports teams. There, he met with T1’s reigning League of Legends World Champion team, including six-time World Champion Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok to unveil RTX Spark.
NVIDIA and Riot Games — developer of League of Legends — are collaborating to bring the title as well as VALORANT to RTX Spark, expanding gamers’ access to high-performance gaming on slim laptops.
To mark the occasion, T1 Base Camp attendees had the chance to win RTX Spark laptops, League of Legends and T1 merch signed by Huang and Faker, as well as GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs.
Surprising PC-Bang Gamers
Later, Huang headed to Seoul’s Gangnam district, where he surprised PC-bang gamers with a first look at RTX Spark with KRAFTON and NC.
At the first stop, Optimum Zone PC, Huang and KRAFTON Chairman Byung-gyu Chang showcased PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and Subnautica 2 on RTX Spark to a captivated crowd of gamers.
Gamers then got the surprise chance to play with the unreleased PUBG Ally, a co-playable character built with NVIDIA ACE technologies on RTX Spark laptops. PUBG Ally resulted from AI research and development at KRAFTON and NVIDIA, part of an initiative to create next-generation game characters that act like teammates and enable more meaningful, immersive engagements with players.
Next, Huang stopped at another PC bang, Portal PC, where he showcased NC’s CINDER CITY and AION 2 on RTX Spark, with support from Taekjin Kim, co-CEO of NC.
NC and NVIDIA began working together in the early 2000s on the Lineage franchise and have since collaborated to integrate RTX technology into many of NC’s flagship games, including Lineage 2, AION, Blade & Soul, AION 2 and CINDER CITY.
Gamers at Portal PC were given the chance to play a demo of NC’s highly anticipated open-world massively multiplayer online tactical shooter CINDER CITY on GeForce RTX-powered PCs.
CINDER CITY will support the DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution features at launch. Plus, gamers will be able to experience the title on slim RTX Spark laptops and compact desktops when the game is released later this year.
In addition to KRAFTON, NC, and Riot Games, 100+ Windows software providers and game developers are embracing RTX Spark. These partners include NetEase, Remedy Entertainment and XBOX.

Title: What Dune: Awakening brings to PlayStation 5 Sept 22
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 2026 13:00:18 +0000
Link: https://blog.playstation.com/2026/07/02/what-dune-awakening-brings-to-playstation-5-sept-22/
On September 22, Dune: Awakening is coming to PlayStation 5.
Dune: Awakening is an open world survival game set on the most legendary planet in the universe: Arrakis. Rise from survival to greatness, as you explore, build, craft, and unravel a cinematic Dune story that asks the mind-bending question: what if Paul Atreides was never born?
Dune: Awakening has been available on PC since last year, and during that time we’ve added a ton of content and enhanced core gameplay systems. The game is better than ever, and with its debut on PlayStation 5, we’re adding even more including a full single-player mode.
PlayStation gamers will be treated to the best version of Dune: Awakening yet. All the enhancements and additions that we’ve been working on for the past year will be on PlayStation day one.
We’ve put together a Developer Deep Dive video exploring what’s coming in the PlayStation 5 version of the game. Check it out:
Play Video
Optimized for PlayStation 5
The team has spent a lot of time and effort making sure the experience on PlayStation 5 is the best it can be. UI and controls have been tailored to the console experience, and we’ve put a lot of focus on making sure the game is highly optimized for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
On the base PlayStation 5, Performance Mode will run at 60fps with frame-gen. On PlayStation 5 Pro, Performance Mode runs at 60fps without frame-gen. Quality Mode will run at 30fps on both systems. The game runs in upscaled 4K on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, in both Performance and Quality Mode. We’ll provide more specific technical details as we get closer to launch, including an overview of native resolutions.
Survival games generally have a reputation for being complex and challenging to learn. With Dune: Awakening, our design philosophy from day one has been to make it a more accessible survival experience.
Not less challenging, but less challenging to learn. We’ve implemented systems that teach you the game and ease you into its core elements, and there is also a strong narrative thread that guides you through the journey from survivalist to hero instead of just dropping you in the middle of a literal sandbox.
To put it like this: if you’re skeptical about survival games, Dune: Awakening is a great portal for you into the genre!
Single-player mode: a game changer
The biggest new addition PlayStation 5 gamers can look forward to is the single-player mode. Right now, on PC, the game is exclusively multiplayer and single-player mode is by far one of the top-requested features.
Making an inherently multiplayer game work in full single-player has not been an easy task. The team has spent months making sure the experience translates well. It’s not just removing multiplayer functionality; every aspect of the game needs to make sense in a single-player format.
For example, in multiplayer, the endgame in Dune: Awakening is built around players competing over specific objectives to make sure their faction – House Atreides or House Harkonnen – gains control over the Landsraad. Controlling the Landsraad gives them the ability to make decisions that can impact gameplay for everyone across the server. In single-player, instead of removing or downscaling this part of the game, we’re instead simulating other players competing for these objectives, making sure it’s still a compelling and engrossing part of the experience.
We’re also introducing a wide range of gameplay customization options, allowing you to scale the difficulty to your liking. Want to harvest resources faster or even disable the sandworm? That’s your choice. You can also customize all these options if you choose to rent a private server for you and your friends.
The new single-player mode allows you to play the game the way you want to, at your own pace.
Available in digital and physical format
We’re also excited to share that we’ll be releasing a physical edition of Dune: Awakening. We’re teaming up with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe who will put the game on shelves in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, and with Solutions 2 GO for North and South America. Title: An update on PlayStation Store for PS3 and PS Vita
Date: Wed, 01 Jul 2026 11:58:05 +0000
Link: https://blog.playstation.com/2026/07/01/an-update-on-playstation-store-for-ps3-and-ps-vita/
After nearly two decades of supporting the PS3 console generation, we wanted to let you know we will be closing the PlayStation Store on PS3, as well as on PS Vita. PlayStation Store on PS3 will close in select markets starting this year, followed by global closures for PS3 and PS Vita next year. That means new content purchases will no longer be possible once the PlayStation Store closes on these devices. To ease the transition, players will still be able to download previously purchased content after the closing date for the foreseeable future.
As the PlayStation Store continues to evolve to support modern commerce systems, including updated payment processing standards, PS3 and PS Vita are no longer able to support these updates at the level required. As a result, we will need to close PlayStation Store on these devices in the timeframes as follows:
Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua – PlayStation Store on PS3 will close starting August 2026.
Additional Latin American and Middle Eastern countries – PlayStation Store on PS3 will close starting late 2026.
In all other countries, PlayStation Store on PS3 and PS Vita will close in July 2027.
We know this news may be disappointing to PS3 and PS Vita players who hold a special place in their hearts for this generation of gaming. PS3 and PS Vita represent an important era in our PlayStation history, so this was not an easy decision for us to make.
As we continue to expand the PlayStation experience on newer devices that most of our users are playing on today, we need to focus more resources on delivering the best gaming experiences on these platforms as we look ahead towards the future.
To our amazing players, we want to give our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing passion and support, which has helped inspire us to shape PlayStation into what it is today. We are excited for the future ahead as we continue to push the boundaries of play. We look forward to having you on this journey with us as we explore new game worlds and new adventures that have yet to come.

Title: Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles
Date: Wed, 01 Jul 2026 11:58:03 +0000
Link: https://blog.playstation.com/2026/07/01/physical-disc-production-ending-in-january-2028-for-new-games-releasing-on-playstation-consoles/
As consumer preferences and the broader entertainment industry continue to shift away from physical discs to digital, physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will be discontinued starting January 2028. Following this date, new games will be available on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only. This transition has no impact on games that already released, or will be releasing, prior to January 2028 in disc format.
This is a natural direction for Sony Interactive Entertainment to adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs. This transition will enable us to align more closely with how most of our community prefers to access and play games today.
We’ll continue to prioritize our resources to drive innovation in how players can access games and provide choices as to where players prefer to purchase new games, whether that’s at retailers or PlayStation Store. We remain committed to delivering a world-class gaming experience to our fans and we thank you for your continued support.

Title: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: PS5 Pro enhancements detailed

Released first on the PlayStation 3 and as a launch title for the PlayStation 4, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has remained a defining entry in the series for more than a decade. When we first explored the idea of bringing Edward Kenway’s journey to modern hardware, it quickly became clear that a traditional remaster wouldn’t be enough to do it justice.

Instead, we rebuilt the game from the ground up on the latest version of the Anvil engine, modernizing nearly every system while preserving the spirit and identity of the original game. The result is an experience tailored for modern PlayStation hardware, with 60 FPS options, HDR support, Dolby Atmos, DualSense haptic feedback, and plenty of other improvements. You can find the list of graphics modes available at launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro below.
With all these new features and graphics options, we’ve been able to take full advantage of the PlayStation 5 hardware and deliver the best experience possible for players when the game launches on July 9.
In this article, we’d like to take a closer look at some of the technologies that bring this new version of the Caribbean to life.
A more reactive Caribbean with ray tracing
In Resynced, our goal was to make the world feel more alive, more dynamic, and more responsive to the player’s journey.
A major part of that comes from our updated lighting system, now fully dynamic and powered by hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
Instead of relying on precomputed lighting, the world reacts in real time to changes in time of day, weather, and environment. Interiors respond more accurately to outdoor light sources, and weather conditions dramatically reshape the mood of the world.
Ray-traced diffuse lighting allows light to bounce across surfaces, creating natural color bleeding and more consistent shading throughout environments. Meanwhile, Ray-Traced Specular Reflections enhance surfaces like wet wood, metal, and ocean spray, helping the Caribbean feel more physically grounded and reactive.
To ensure a consistent experience, Ray-Traced Global Illumination is enabled in all graphics modes on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. Ray-Traced Specular Reflections are available in Balanced and Fidelity modes on PS5, and across all graphics modes on PS5 Pro.

Continuous detail with micropolygon geometry
One of the key visual improvements in Black Flag Resynced comes from how we handle geometry at scale.
Traditional rendering pipelines rely on discrete levels of detail, switching between simplified models as the player moves through the world. While effective, this approach can sometimes introduce noticeable visual popping.
With our Micropolygon geometry pipeline, we take a different approach. Instead of switching between fixed models, geometry is continuously refined based on distance, visibility, and camera perspective. This continuous level of detail is enabled by the PlayStation 5’s ultra-high-speed SSD, which allows Anvil to instantly stream, virtualize, and render tiny geometric clusters.
This lets environments and assets scale smoothly from close-up detail to distant silhouettes without noticeable transitions.

PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements
The PlayStation 5 Pro includes all the features of the base PlayStation 5 but adds significantly more GPU power and enhanced ray‑tracing performance, giving additional headroom for higher fidelity and more stable performance.
Across all graphics modes, players on PS5 Pro benefit from extended ray tracing support, including both Ray-Traced Global Illumination and Ray-Traced Specular Reflections.
This enables richer lighting and reflection quality while maintaining higher performance targets across Performance, Balanced, and Fidelity modes.
We’ve also expanded our strand-based hair on PS5 Pro. Rather than relying solely on traditional hair cards, the engine can simulate and render individual strands for more natural motion and response to wind. All of this allows us to get a very realistic hair render for our characters.
On PS5 Pro, strand-based hair is available for Edward in all modes. In Fidelity mode, nearby crowd characters also benefit from strand simulation during gameplay, while cinematics use strand-based hair for all characters regardless of mode.
In addition, Black Flag Resynced supports the latest version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), helping deliver better image quality and improved reconstruction, reducing the visual gap between performance and fidelity modes.
A living world driven by Anvil’s Atmos
Black Flag Resynced simulates weather in real time through Atmos, the systemic weather simulation framework in our Anvil engine.
Rather than treating weather as a set of isolated effects, Atmos continuously simulates variables such as temperature, humidity, wind, and vapor density. These systems evolve over time and influence one another, producing more coherent and dynamic weather.
This same simulation extends into gameplay and environmental interaction. Wind affects not only cloud movement and storms at sea, but also vegetation, cloth, particles, sails, and character hair.
The result is a world that doesn’t just look alive but feels physically connected as well.
A richer ocean
The ocean has always been at the heart of Black Flag, and modernizing its rendering was a key focus for this project.
Black Flag Resynced introduces a fully modernized water system, based on a physically based rendering pipeline. New tessellation technique, volumetric foam generation, and dynamic bubble systems add more details to the water surface. These updates allow the sea to respond more naturally to wind conditions, weather, and ship movement.
The sea now plays an even greater role in shaping both the mood and moment-to-moment experience of navigation and combat.
Prepare for a more immersive experience
When rebuilding Assassin’s Creed Black Flag on the latest version of Anvil, our goal wasn’t only to modernize technology. We wanted to strengthen the sense of immersion, adventure, and discovery that made Edward Kenway’s journey so memorable in the first place. PlayStation 5 hardware has given us the opportunity to push that experience further than ever before, from the way the world looks and sounds, to how it feels.
Whether you’re returning to relive a favorite adventure, or setting sail with Edward for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you to the Caribbean when Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro.

Everyone, look how open-minded I am: I’m spotlighting a demo for a game I’m not personally interested in. Nobel Peace Prizes, FIFA Peace Prizes, Pepsi sponsorships, surely all mine now that I’ve pointed out Flask – a darkly comedic deckbuilding autobattler, with scratchy hand-drawn art by Danish pencil warlock John Kenn Mortensen – has a playable preview on Steam.

Ah, don't worry, we're not stressing about that. That's essentially what the makes of samurai action battler Onimusha: Way of the Sword said late last month when it was pointed out to them that their game'll be fighting a lot of competition when it arrives amid the September gamepocalypse. Having initially opted to stick with their planned September 25th release, Capcom have now decided to bring Onimusha forward to September 4th.

Shake hands with the nearest underwater critter. The Subnautica 2 legal dispute appears to finally have reached its ultimate conclusion, with a settlement agreed between publishers Krafton and the three Unknown Worlds leaders they fired last year. One of those three leads, Unknown Worlds CEO Ted Gill, was reinstated to his post via a judge's orders in March. So, naturally, now the settlement's been reached, he's stepping down voluntarily.
